ABOUT THE COMPANY
Conceptualized in 1958 as a Training Unit of the Personnel Department of Tamaraw Security Service, Inc. under the stewardship, dynamic vision and effective management of the late ALBERTO Q. CASTAÑEDA, President Emeritus and COL FRANCISCO R. MUÑOZ who is now the current President, who both strongly believe that proper training and a good supervisory ratio are vital factors in the success of an organization. The training unit was then named Tamaraw Training Center, Inc. (TTCI).
From then on Officers and Trainers of TSTCI were enhanced by sending them to training to higher local academe (AIM, UPISSI) and foreign study programs (UNDP) and school facilities were improved and equipped with tools, equipment and training materials. All efforts of the founder resulted to Government Recognition bestowed by DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CULTURE AND SPORTS (DECS) IN 1974; Accreditation Certification by TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (TESDA) and SUPERVISORY OFFICE FOR SECURITY AND INVESTIGATION AGENCIES, PNP (SOSIA-PNP) IN 1975.
It was then incorporated and registered with the SECURITY AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION (SEC) in September 7, 1976.
Today we have extended our service to security organizations all over the country, sharing advices and expertise along with other security professionals, who have spent a lifetime in building up valuable experience in all aspects of the industry. TSTCI is a totally committed business partner of companies and organizations nationwide. The school board is one hundred percent FILIPINO.

TRAINING PROGRAMS OFFERED
Basic Security Guard Course
- A Pre-Licensing Program for those who are applying for a License to Exercise Profession as Security Guard.
In-service Enhancement Security Training Course
- A Refresher Training Program which is a requirement prior to renewal of individual license as security guard or security officer.
Re-Training Course (RTC)
- A Refresher Training Program to be taken prior to renewal of license as security guard.
Basic Security Supervisory Course
- A Pre-licensing Program offered to college graduate, a pre-requisite in applying License to Exercise Profession as Security Officer. This can be also taken periodically as a Refresher Training Program for Security Officers who will renew his license as security officer.
Other Specialized Training Course as required or needed by Client
CONDUCT AND PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS
R.A. 5487 requires that we hire the following people:
Must have passed the psychological evaluation & Drug Testing
Cleared by law-enforcement and without previous record of any conviction of criminal offense involving moral turpitude
Of good moral character
Drug Free
Physically and Mentally Fit
Filipino Citizen
High School Graduate
Not less than twenty-one (21) nor more than fifty (50) years of age
At least 5 feet and 4 inches in height
Not less than 120 lbs
